The emerging trend of intimate CBD products

The continuing success of CBD shows no sign of abating with the number of infused products growing every day – a nod to fast industry adoption and growing consumer demand and satisfaction.

A recent study revealed how cannabis can improve sexual satisfaction. But high-inducing cannabis is not for everyone, nor is it available for everyone which is why there is an emerging trend of intimate CBD products to fill the gap.

One such product is CBD massage oil. Infused with essential oils and skin-loving ingredients such as vitamin E, almond oil, and coconut oil, it can be massaged all over the body to promote intimacy as well as relieve sore and tired muscles, aches, and pains.

Another popular intimacy product is the Wellness Stimulating Serum by XES Solutions. This CBD-based serum is applied to the female vaginal area where it interacts with an abundance of cannabinoid receptors and is reported to intensify the sexual experience.

A somewhat similar product to this is CBD lube which has therapeutic aphrodisiac effects. It can increase arousal, promote natural lubrication, and heighten sensation, all while decreasing muscular tension, enhancing blood flow and decreasing pain signalling.

CBD oil on its own is very popular in the UK for helping to improve intimate relations as it has particularly useful anti-anxiety properties. Several studies have shown how CBD reduces subjective anxiety and negative self-evaluation of performance – common problems that inhibit sexual arousal and sexual confidence. Taking CBD drops under the tongue, eating CBD edibles or vaping CBD prior to intimate relations could be exactly what you need.

The UK CBD market is expected to be worth £1 billion per annum from 2025 according to a recent report commissioned by the Centre for Medicinal Cannabis. CBD intimacy products are expected to take a substantial share in this figure.
