The inaugural World CBD Gala Dinner & Awards ceremony took place last night at the Pullman Barcelona and closed on a high. Winners were announced in several categories that shape the industry and the best of the best companies were recognised. 

The theme was ‘We can do better' and the audience in the room were focused on how to educate not only the end-user but people working within the industry.  The emphasis moving forward will be on how stakeholders can band together as an industry to ensure the products that survive on the market are the best products with the most ethical sources.  The question posed to the audience on the day was clear  – Is your CBD understood and good enough?

Best CBD beauty skincarepoko was favourite skincare world beauty award if TheExtract has the decision!

Best clinically proven brand: Hemptouch

Industry Recognition Award: Canateq Holdings – An interesting company that are next-generation, next-level innovative. Their focus is on infusion technology for the cannabis space. Cannabis infusion for the functional beverage market. Amplifying a product's performance by adding nutritional value is the goal.

The World CBD Awards is not just an awards ceremony. The event itinerary was packed to the brim with influential speakers and thought-provoking debate.

The whole event was the perfect opportunity for attendees interested in picking the finest minds in understanding how to grow a CBD or hemp-based business, to network, make connections, learn and grow. The gala event afforded delegates a window to unwind and soak up the excitement for the ever-evolving industry. Attendees were full of praise for the event, and next year’s planning is already in the works. Destination – Las Vegas.

It will be interesting to see how far the sector will have progressed by then with the anticipated growth across the industry, along with improvement in standards, compliance and cannabis regulations.  Delegates and attendees shared the hope that the world CBD industry continues to show itself to be ethical and innovative.
